BROMLEY BRICK COLONIAL RENOVATION
This brick Colonial house in the Near West End was beautifully preserved by the daughter of the architect who designed and built it. We felt an obligation to keep our renovation as true to the existing home as possible. We used a traditional design scheme throughout, enhancing the charm and character with classic finishes such as marble, interior brick, thick white trim, and traditional light fixtures from Shades of Light in Richmond. We added a small two-story addition on the rear of the house with a porch, which allowed for an open gourmet kitchen and master suite above. The basement was finished and all mechanical systems updated.
This house is a true beauty and is a shining example of why Richmond's older neighborhoods are worth preserving.
