carey is a project coordinator in design, marketing, and development for spruce.  she earned her bachelor of arts degree in public and urban affairs from virginia tech's college of architecture.  she has worked as an urban planner in the public sector and in land acquisition in the construction industry.  as a busy mom of three, carey is accustomed to wearing many hats, often volunteering in her children’s school communities, at church, and backstage for theatre productions in costuming and props.

carey lives in goochland with her husband, jordan, and their three kids. she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, rocking on the back porch, watching great movies, and traveling.  she also loves fishing, skiing, needlepointing, and thrifting with her daughters.
